2026 Spring update.

2026 update. Hello everybody, I hope you have all survived this very cold winter. This year I will be starting up a little later than usual.

Unfortunately, last year, there was just not enough revenue for one person let alone 2 so we have both (Sara & I) decided to change directions and go back to work full time.

Working full time means that I will no longer be able to operate Bloomlovers like I have for 30+ years, it would just be too much so I will be testing out new ways of operating.

Last year I noticed a lot of hobbyists on Facebook selling violets online in pop up sales and people seemed thrilled so I will probably try to adopt some sort of pop-up sales way of doing it and see if I can manage that. I will try to find something that will make sense with my new work schedule and that will not burn me out.

At this time, I can’t tell you when and what I will have available, I am still trying to figure this thing out. I will put updates here also on the Facebook page/group and I will also send out updates thru email. If you wish to receive an email when I announce a sale, make sure you add your email on the website at the bottom of the page.

To our American friends, I am sorry to say that for the moment it is still not possible to ship to you guys in an affordable way. I have looked into what all the different new fees would be to sell orders to the USA and the cost is much to high so for now, unless something changes or more affordable brokers pop up, I won’t be able to send anything your way, sorry.

Bonjour à tous, j’espère que vous avez tous survécu à cet hiver très froid. Cette année, je commencerai un peu plus tard que d’habitude.

Malheureusement, l’année dernière, il n’y avait tout simplement pas assez de revenus pour une personne, encore moins pour deux, alors nous avons toutes les deux (Sara et moi) décidé de changer de direction et de retourner travailler à temps plein.

Travailler à temps plein signifie que je ne pourrai plus gérer Bloomlovers comme je l’ai fait pendant plus de 30 ans, ce serait tout simplement trop. Je vais donc tester de nouvelles façons de fonctionner.

L’an dernier, j’ai remarqué beaucoup de passionnés sur Facebook qui vendaient des violettes en ligne lors de ventes éphémères, et les gens semblaient ravis. Je suis assez intéressée par ce concept, donc je vais probablement essayer d’adopter une forme de ventes éphémères et voir si j’arrive à gérer cela. Je tenterai de trouver une méthode qui fonctionne avec mon nouvel horaire de travail et qui ne m’épuise pas.

Pour le moment, je ne peux pas vous dire quand ni ce que j’aurai disponible, je suis encore en train de tout organiser. Je publierai des mises à jour ici ainsi que sur la page/groupe Facebook, et j’enverrai aussi des mises à jour par courriel. Si vous souhaitez recevoir un courriel lorsque j’annoncerai une vente, assurez vous d’ajouter votre adresse courriel au bas de la page du site web.
